As we celebrate this remarkable milestone, we are also reaffirming our renewed focus on Education, Mentorship, and Skills (EMS): the three pillars that will guide our impact for years to come. To bring each of these pillars to life, SMILE will be undertaking dedicated projects that address real needs within our communities.
About Oasis Academy of Excellence
Nestled within one of our underserved communities, Oasis Academy of Excellence is more than just a school: it is a place of hope. The academy provides free education to children from disadvantaged and slum communities, ensuring that financial hardship does not become a barrier to learning. Despite limited resources, the school continues to nurture young minds with dedication, creating a safe environment where every child can dream, learn, and grow.
Behind every smiling face is a story of resilience, determination, and untapped potential. With the right support, these children can achieve extraordinary things.
The Oasis Project
To commemorate SMILE’s 10th Anniversary, we are dedicating this year’s Back-to-School campaign to supporting Oasis Academy and its students. Our goal is not simply to donate supplies, but to strengthen the school’s ability to continue providing quality education to the children who depend on it
Through this initiative, we aim to:
- Provide stationery and educational supplies for approximately 100 students.
- Support the school’s feeding programme through food donations and financial contributions.
- Create awareness about the incredible work being done by Oasis Academy and the support it requires.
- Provide temporary storage solutions for books and educational materials to improve learning conditions.
Every notebook, every meal, every contribution, and every act of kindness brings us one step closer to creating a better learning environment for these children.
