Debuting a December Christmas sale, snacks such as milkshakes, waffles, cupcakes etc were sold. Amidst much laughter and music, all profits made during this sales was used as funds to procure the necessities needed by children affected by kwashiorkor at the Accra Children's Hospital.Project Do IT For The Kids was our first ever project. It focused children who for many reasons were faced with kwashiorkor, a severe form of malnutrition caused by a lack of protein in the diet. It most commonly affects young children, especially in areas where there is famine, limited food supply, or poor nutrition education. In collaboration with another NGO: Crystal Ladies Association, necessities such as food items, medical equipment, toiletries, diapers needed by all admitted children at the hospital who were affected by KwashiorkorThe project turned out not only to be a great success but also a true eye opener of life difficulties especially in Ghana.
