PROJECT TOUCH A LIFE

In celebration of our 3rd year anniversary as Serving Many In Love Everywhere (SMILE), we embarked on another life changing journey to bring hopes, motivation and joy to the students and staff of BBC TEMA COMMUNITY 2 NUMBER 1 DAY CARE.A day care school though located in the heart of the Tema city, was faced with many hardships to keep the school running smoothly. From financial strains faced by guardians and parents, many students were seen absent on most days due to nonpayment of fees or insufficient funds to provide meals during teachings hours.By embarking on Project Touch A Life, SMILE sought to touch the lives of both students and staff of the BBC COMMUNITY 2 NUMBER 1 DAY CARE. Providing each student with the necessary stationaries and vital materials needed all through the school year and providing full year scholarships for many children whose guardians were facing difficulty in paying off the needed fees to keep their wards in school.The smiles, appreciation and gratitude poured out by the students and staff was all the evidence needed that we had indeed Touched Lives.Project Launch: 16th October 2019 Project Fundraising: 17th October 2019- 28th December 2019 Day of Donation: 15th January 2020
