On the 28th of June 2025, Smile Ghana in partnership with Touch of Hope Foundation brought the heart of its mission: Serving Many In Love Everywhere to life through Project Gogo 2.0, a powerful community outreach program in Gontei. With a shared commitment to uplifting underserved communities, our team, volunteers, and supporters came together to make a lasting impact.From the moment we arrived, it was clear this wasn’t just another outreach but a return in the movement of love, empowerment, and transformation.✨ What We Did: • 🩺 Free Medical Screening & Medication: Over 100 residents received professional medical attention, vital checkups, and access to needed medications. • 🧼 Distribution of Toiletries & Body Care Packs: Essential hygiene items were provided to families to promote health and dignity. • 👗 Clothing Bank: Thanks to the generous donations, our pop-up clothes bank allowed community members to select gently used clothing for themselves and their loved ones. • 🪡 Empowering Women with Tools: Two hardworking women in Gontei were gifted sewing machines to kickstart and boost their tailoring businesses. A step toward economic independence. • 🧒🏾 Smiles for the Kids: Through our coloring activities and fun packs, the children of Gontei experienced joy, creativity, and care.None of this would’ve been possible without the collective effort of our dedicated team, health professionals from Touch of Hope Foundation, donors, and volunteers.
