“So what do we call ourselves?” “Should the names have what we do?” “What of Love Foundation?” This and many more questions flew as a group of seven ladies stayed on a call. One question to the other, they figured out what their next steps should be. From what birthed out of a simple Christmas sale, “SPRINKLES & SPICES” had now evolved into a common passion from these same ladies. The passion to lend a helping hand, be a reason for someone to find hope, a reason for someone’s smile…

“Yes SMILE! Lets call our team SMILE” “SMILE?” I think that’s quite common oo”””What if we made it an acronym to give depth to what we want to truly do?” Ok girls lets sleep and pray on it, share your ideas on the acronym on our next call”..

Serving Many In Love Everywhere that’s the names, yes! definitely depicts what we seek to do!

Every smile has a story. And at Smile Ghana, every story begins with love.

What started as a simple desire to give back has grown into a movement that’s touching lives across communities in Ghana. Our name — Smile — isn’t just a word. It’s an acronym that captures our mission: Serving Many In Love Everywhere. And that’s exactly what we strive to do, one act of kindness at a time.

Behind the outreaches, donations, and community support is a team of passionate individuals driven by compassion, faith, and a shared belief that everyone deserves dignity, opportunity, and care.

We’ve seen it in the eyes of a child receiving medical care for the first time. In the joy of a mother handed essential supplies. In the tears of two determined women gifted sewing machines to change their future.

Smile Ghana was born out of a conviction that impact doesn’t always come from doing something grand. Sometimes it’s as simple as showing up, giving what you can, and choosing love every time.

We serve not for recognition, but because we believe love must be lived out loud, through our hands, our resources, our time, and our voices.

To all our supporters, volunteers, and donors: You are part of this heart. You make it possible for us to keep serving, keep loving, and keep spreading smiles across Ghana.

This is only the beginning..
